Surfin’ Dirt, the one and only mountain board centre in Ireland, is evolving into GASP (gravity action sports park).
Located in the spectacular surroundings of the Mourne Mountains, Surfin' Dirt mountain board centre provides an exciting venue for mountain boarders and mountain bikers of all skills and ages. Beginners have the opportunity to learn and develop skills on the nursery slope, while more advanced riders will enjoy the long carving runs, jumps and features on the main hill.
We have all the boards and safety gear for hire, instruction from AIMBA qualified ATB instructors or mountain bike coach, as well as boards, equipment, clothing and accessories for sale. Introduction sessions are held most weekends, where you will learn the basic riding techniques with an experienced AIMBA instructor or mountain bike coach, and be riding the hill like a pro in a very short time.
Our new brand, GASP, which stands for Gravity Action Sports Park, will see the introduction of new activities all involving gravity in some way. Our new MTB 4X track will be opened at Easter.

10 and under pure downhill competition, winner takes home the Dalton Cup

New activities are being introduced to the park including a mountain bike 4X track, a northshore trail is being developed, a unique climbing wall, and much more. A new fully interactive website is also under construction. Watch this space!

It is downhill all the way, since Surfin' Dirt now have a lift trailer to pull you and your gear up the hill - more downhill time without the walk up effort.
King of the Dirt 2008
The KotD lived up to its' name again this year, with all the recent rain, we had every type of dirt imaginable! Wet dirt, sticky dirt, muddy dirt, smelly dirt, tasty dirt, you name it...we wore it! David Marshall took the crown, a quality RuRoc helmet.
